For this project, I worked as the backend lead for a website that allows SFSU students and affiliates to buy and sell items they no longer need.

On the site, sellers are able to make posts for items, making sure to include their condition, price (or starting price for bids), and some pictures. Once approved by an administrator, buyers can put in offers. Once a price is settled, they can exchange contact information and complete their transaction as they'd like.

Our group created milestone documents for the project throughout the semester, including personae, use cases, functional/non-functional requirements, and a competitive analysis.

We then took our concept to Figma to create the mock-ups. I was in charge of the admin pages, but everyone had a say in the final designs of all the pages.

Initially, I struggled with getting the server set up on AWS since it was my first time doing anything with servers, but I was quickly able to resolve those issues by starting the database over and researching more about the server set up. As a team, we had very good communication  by using Discord and Trello to manage our project.
